Experienced individual psychotherapist and supervisor with background in mental health work.
I have been practicing as a psychotherapist in private practice since 1986. I originally worked in community mental health and spent many years working with self help and support groups connected to local Mind groups, as well as managing and strategic development of services.
I now work with individuals with a broad range of emotional and relationship issues, in particular integrating my awareness of physical health issues with those of emotional response to life events. I am currently pursuing ongoing study of neuropsychological findings that impact on how we recover and change behaviour following trauma. My healing training supports a mindfulness approach to self awareness. I have had considerable experience working with life threatening illness, as well as eating disorders, and also supervise workers from different disciplines working in these contexts.
I am married with two adult children, and complement my psychotherapy work with gardening and walking.

Two year training in Holistic Healing (College of Healing, Malvern)
Modules on Supervision Training (CSTD)
